Hey friend, Ashley here!

Hey friend, Ashley here! Co-contributor of This Life I Cherish. Since I’ll be hanging sound here a bit I figured it be nice to get to know me, as best as I can. When I started writing this little intro, I started describing myself as if I was putting myself on some dating app. That got weird! It went a little something like.. I’m 5’2, dark brunette with squinty eyes and glasses. I live off caffeine and love a good heart to heart. If I’m not running around with my children (6 and 2) I’m working as an Autism Facilitator.. you get the gist. 

So let’s get back to business. The real stuff you wanna know. 

I’m that girl that laughs at her own jokes before she can even get it out. That one hype girl that can’t wait to hear about what’s going on in your life just so I can cheer for you from the sidelines-outfit with your name on it, pom poms, high pony and all! I wear my heart on my sleeve and can’t hide what’s weighting heavy on it. I wear my laugh lines like they’re a badge of honor! I believe that the world needs a little more transparency, a little less criticism and whole lot more forgiveness. I feel that we work best when we realize we’re all on the same team, just trying to make it day to day without feeling like we completely failed.. and sometimes we do, and that's okay too!

Elizabeth and I have been best friends since the beginning of time. At least that what I feels like. Always together, hand in hand getting through all the shit life throws at ya. So here we are. Doing this big thing together. Just as we always do. We cuss a little, we love a lot-might be the other way around some days. But every day we strive to be real, relatable and raw. So  you’re gonna get it all! I’m glad you’re here and hope you stick around for the ride.
